Unidentified fungus on Wild Cherry

I am reasonably sure it’s Silver – leaf fungus (Chondostereum purpureum).
Trees in the rosaceae family are particularly susceptible, especially Prunus and Malus spp.

The Silver leaf disease often leads to the demise of fruit trees, especially plums. The fungus affects the trees metabolism and water conducting system.
