I wonder why I am the first (the only) to agree, in 2 years.
Am I blind to something? Notice that the links in the ID panel fail.
Somehow, Mike, aggregate has been added to its name. Searching precisely for Tripleurospermum maritimum agg. results in Scentless Mayweed which is, or should be, Tripleurospermum inodorum.
perhaps we should stick with English names! Ha!!
THREE MARINE PROJECTS
Yes, there does seem to be something wrong here. My understanding is that "Tripleurospermum maritimum" refers to Sea Mayweed, "Tripleurospermum inodorum" refers to Scentless Mayweed, and "Tripleurospermum maritimum agg." has been used to denote "either Sea or Scentless" Mayweed, where they haven't been distinguished to species level.
So I'm not sure why the links to EoL, NBN etc. are going from "Tripleurospermum maritimum" to "Tripleurospermum maritimum agg.", which is incorrect as far as I can see.
I'll investigate further.
Entomologist and biological recorder
Oh how nice for you.
Do note that this did not happen in my posting.
I certainly did NOT use 'get recommended'
I have gathered some new 'friends' via my comments in most of the Sea Mayweed postings!
See this one as an example..
