Marsh Ragwort petals

I was put off by the number of petals. These have up to 20.The Marsh Ragwort photos I've looked at have flowers with around 13 petals with gaps between them.Is it usual to have as many petals as this? The ground it is growing in is not marshy ,it is probably well drained.Plants growing in the thick grass with it include red and white clover, common ragwort and bird's-foot trefoil .
