Like a pied wagtail but greyer and with a pale yellow face. Is it a female Pied?

Yes it is a Pied Wagtail

You have correctedly identified this so I'll leave you to 'officially' add the identification.

Female (and juvenile) Pied Wagtails are not as black and white as adult males, and do often have a yellowish colour to the face (especially prominent on some juveniles).
This looks like an adult female.
