Description:

I've been rearing some Vapourer moths on apple leaves and this micro appeared in the container today. I think I accidentally brought in a caterpillar and a pupa on a leaf I'd collected for my other moths. This looks like one of the tortrix moths but I have no idea which one! Please could someone help?

Thanks very much for your

Thanks very much for your help! No wonder I couldn't find the moth when I trawled through a load of photos of tortrix moths - it's because this moth only looks like a tortrix and isn't actually one!
