Have not found reference yet in any of my books that this bug has the two names - although one book states that it is very hairy when studied closely - could be hence the Hairy bug name....
I just saw a bug that looked like one I put on ispot a while ago - but it had a different name! They are very distinctive and rather handsome beasties in their own way.
