Several of these small bugs on hogweed on woodland ride. They were smaller than the Soldier beetles feeding on the same plant. Sorry the photos are not very good.

Maybe Arge Pagana. A sawfly.
But this is a guess.
Its wings are quite dark and the yellow markings are not uniform to every individual.
Sometimes they have black legs and sometimes banded with yellow.
Many thanks for your educated guess. I've looked at several web photos of Arge pagana, but none seem to have the row of black spots on the underside of the abdomen, so I'm not confident about this id. However, I also thought that it might be a sawfly species.
Could be Rhogogaster viridis or maybe Rose Sawfly

Thanks for the id - as far as it's possible to go. I'm not into dissecting creatures to secure an id, so I'm happy to settle for what's posssible from the photo.
