Description:

I believe this is a kind of shield bug but can't find the exact ID in my books, which is a pity as it's a real beauty.

Carpocoris mediterraneus

The markings are distinctly typical of C mediterraneus

Other European species include Carpocoris mediterraneus, Tamanini (1959) Carpocoris. Pudicus Poda(1761) Carpocoris. Fuscispinus Boheman (1850) Carpocoris melanocerus Mulsant & Rey (1852) which canbe distinguished by patterns, shapes indents on the scutellar shield
