Description:

Wonderful shrub from Chile that grows really well in my garden to the extent I have to prune it regularly to keep it outgrowing it's position. In an unusual family the Elaeocarpaceae.Introduced to cultivation in 1848 by the famous Cornish Plant Hunter William Lobb.Is regarded by W. J. Bean as "amongst the most attractive of shrubs"
