Brown Argus

Observed: 4th July 2011 By: allrounderallrounder’s reputation in Invertebratesallrounder’s reputation in Invertebratesallrounder’s reputation in Invertebratesallrounder’s reputation in Invertebrates
Common Blue 4.7.11
Description:

The two spots at the base of the forewing are either absent making this a Brown Argus or are obscured by the hindwing which would make this a Common Blue. When I first saw it in flight, my initial reaction was that it was a Brown Argus but the blueish tinge to the body makes me think it is a female Common Blue
