Pine Marten
Description:

We have been away for a month and thought the Pine Martens that have been visiting the garden since April would have looked elsewhere for food.
But from the first night back we have been visited at least once sometimes twice. This one visited us a few minutes ago.
Then last night, what we had been hoping for, a group of four visited. I have added a number of videos on YouTube under my username AssyntNature.
to see the video of the four http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBuItskdB_s
We also have some on our website

Must remember to put out the food earlier!

Last night I was waiting for it to get a bit darker before putting out food for the martens, so the birds did not get it, when three kits arrived.
They ran around the garden up all the trees and onto the bird table looking, then left.
see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llYNoE42QcI.

I put the food out and ten minutes later an adult arrived and eat most of it, so when the kids returned later there was still no food!!
