The leaf is from an Acer species and might well be Sycamore, however, the trunks look more like Silver Birch

Agreed Robert, the leaf looks like Acer species and could be Sycamore but the trunk is Silver Birch, Betula pendula.

Agreed Robert. The leaf is Sycamore Acer pseudoplatanus and you can see the Tar Spot fungus Rhytisma acerinum on the leaf. The tree trunks look like Silver Birch Betula pendula.
