Ramalina farinacea

Thanks. I can see the black at the base of the Usnea floridana is more pronounced than I imagined. While photographs taken in the field are useful, I am learning that they do not always provide you with all the relative information and angles required to make a confident and accurate identification. Of course, experience helps as well.
