Small hymenoptera, narrow waist, 3mm length, black back, orange
underside, long antennae, long ovipositor. About 50 suddenly appeared
indoors after ash twigs brought inside. Possible pupa cases also

I don't think this will be Apanteles glomeratus - that's the one that parasitises Large White caterpillars. Could be one of the related species, but I don't know enough about them to make an alternative suggestion.
