the shape of the fruits look

the shape of the fruits look wrong for burnet-saxifrage - too long and narrow. maybe rough chervil - do the stems have purple splotches?

I've done this twice already and it keeps being rejected!
I agree with Norris - and as well as the fruit, the umbel branches are hairy, and there are bracteoles (little leafy bits below the umbels), which also fit Rough chervil, but not burnet saxifrage. Umbels are tricky - details of the leaves and stems can really help with ids - pictures in books can be very confusing.

I think you're right. The leaves match the illustrations better for rough chervil, and seeing as it flowers in June-July it's more likely to be that.

I think the stems did have purple spots yes. You can't really tell from the picture though.
