I am in doubt. The leaf of the creeping buttercup seems very variable according to the various pictures. But the 'norm' seems to have lobed leaves rather than three leaflets with their own stems, albeit very short. The three leaflet seems more chracteristic of the bulbous buttercup. On the other hand, the leaflet stems of the bulbous buttercup tend to be longer than those on my specimen. In addition, I think there are stolons on the stem of my sample, like a strawberry has, so that indicates creeping buttercup. I'm going back to the site and gather more samples. There could be two species there.
