It looks like its feeding

It looks like its feeding from the flower of a Marsh Cinquefoil (Comarum palustris) so I guess it was in a damp, fen type habitat if this is of any help.

Thanks for the ID help, I thought Garden initially but the face was too short, the wings are not dark which suggested a species other than a cuckoo, however looking at the above photos the wings are not always darkened, as you say a very worn specimen but just enough orange hairs on the tail to see that's it's a male, quite a large bee too!
