X chrysenteron was always the

X chrysenteron was always the first choice when finding a Bolete with a cracked cap like this. It is now generally accepted that any found under oak are X cicalpinus unless they are very drab brown rather than with red tones it which case they are likely to be X porosporus.
This one found under pine X chrysenteron.
