Description:

Smells of decaying flesh, slimy head, growing under Lilac tree and amongst Ivy.

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

this fungi......

this fungi mimics the smell and colour of faeces to attract flies which then spread its spores, just as flowering plants use nectar to attact inverts which then distribute pollen. It's amazing when you think about it!
