These were found growing in the rootballs of newly transplanted trees. They have not grown in this park before to my knowledge.

Yes, I was quite disappointed

Yes, I was quite disappointed that the new trees had been planted with the balsam in the rootball. I don't know how easy it would have been to remove it before planting.
