Sitting on the village hall roof. This is one of a pair which live in a tree in the adjacent churchyard.

Could be a Collard Dove, but it is really too far away to be sure. Collard Doves are frequent visitors to our garden, they seem to like pine trees. I am not sure just when we spotted the first, but 10 years ago we saw none.
They're actually surprisingly recent colonists, first arriving in the early 1950s. Now common across most of the country.
