Slow worms apparently preparing to mate, discovered on a local nature reserve in London.

I think this is the first time we have had a male and female slow worm in the same picture on iSpot. You can clearly see the brown stripe down the side of the female and how the male is almost completely lacking any kind of skin pattern.
