Location?

I cannot recall the distribution of these species well enough to be sure if the location is far enought up the country to safely eliminate Essex Skipper without a shot of the underside of the antennae.

Hi David

Its a possibility that Essex Skipper could occur as we are on the fringes of its distribution. Im pretty certain this is Thymelicus sylvestris. I did a lot of netting and close observation of the skippers last year at this site to check for the black underside of the antennea clubs....they were all orange(y).
