Two black-tailed Skimmers (probably young females) sighted in long grass adjacent to a large open lake.
No interactions present.
Nice photos, I find this is one of the easier species to creep up on and take a quick snap or two.
There is no mistaking this one, very distinctive markings; excellent photos.
