Palomena prasina eggs.

Observed: 14th June 2011 By: DidiDidi’s reputation in InvertebratesDidi’s reputation in Invertebrates

Since the 10.6.11 this leaf has been occupied by about 12 1st instar Palomena nymphs, either under or on top of the leaf. This morning at 8 a.m. they had disappeared. At 10 a.m. I went to look again, an adult flew out from under the leaf as I approached leaving a new clutch of eggs. To go back to the same leaf would seem quite a feat!

That's an interesting observation, thanks for showing it. Would you mind adding another identification, using just the species name (Palomena prasina) with the "eggs", and then we should get it linking properly to other observations on iSpot. Once you've typed in the name (or picked it off the list), try clicking on "Get recommended" just to make sure it is the name that iSpot expects to use.

To add another identification just click on "Add a revision" above.
