The St Lucia anole and the Watt's anole have both been recorded from the area you were in, and the third (Barbados anole) from not far away. I discovered an excellent report on St Lucia herpetology when researching a frog posted not so long ago:
Based on their descriptions and photographs I think the identification of this lizard is right, however, your other one is a Watt's anole - see other posting:
