Unusual red slow worm from a while ago. You occasionally get orange juveniles. This was a sub-adult and as red as a tomato.
No interactions present.
An amazing colour, was there any particular eason it had survived? For example, was it on Old Red Sandstone soil?

None that I could see. I found hundreds on that site and only one other this colour (a bit older but I didn't have my camera...)
