Is this a common woodlouse (Oniscus asellus)?
Am I meant to comment as the 'to discuss later' comment suggests i may be intruding on a lesson or something. Same as http://www.ispot.org.uk/node/16365?
No. It is very likely Porcellio scaber, the common rough woodlouse. The image is not clear enough for certainty. If it has a black head and stripe down the back, with yellow patches along the stripe, it would be Porcellio spinicornis. There are other unlikely options too, but It's almost certainly P. scaber
