Blusher

Most definitely Amanita rubescens - The Blusher. The only mycorrhizal fungus that I have had so far, here in London. You seem to be doing very well over there.

Yes, I was surprised to find

Yes, I was surprised to find so many, but I'm not an expert like you. My first ever foray was at the end of August last year, so I'm still in my first year, and I don't really know what to expect to see over the next few months (apart from what the books say, of course).
