Bee or Moth?

Bee or Moth?
Description:

We saw this insect on our nature ramble along the north coast of the Isle of Islay in the Inner Hebrides. I'm pretty sure it's a bumble bee, but not sure what species. It's also been suggested it's a Hummingbird Hawkmoth, which I've never seen before, but am pretty sure it's a bee, not a moth. Any ideas?

I'm pretty sure it's a moth

I'm pretty sure it's a moth but it doesn't look right for the usual Hummingbird Hawk-moth...
