Description:

growing next to water trough,flowers 25-45mm across,corolla yellow marked with small red spots,and a 3-lobed lower lip and 2-lobed upper lip in open terminal clusters,leaves oval,in opposite pairs upper ones unstalked and clasping,introduced from N America but now naturalised.

Hybrid

It could easily be Mimulus x hybridus (luteus x guttatus) but you need to examine pollen and seed production to tell.
