Very light and delicate, so I'll assume it's a bird.

This is the pelvic girdle of a bird, probably a pheasant if it was found in a wood. You'll see a similar feature next time you carve the christmas turkey.

Thanks - very likely a Pheasant, as this bone was in the kitchen garden of a farm where they raise Pheasants.
