Description:

Marine creature in a hole in the exposed sea bed at Bosham harbour.
Does anyone have any ideas what it is please?

fanworm

You can clearly see the feeding tentacles of a fanworm inside the hole. There are lots of possible species.

Don't think its a fanworm. Sabellids live in a tough tube of a couple of millimetres diameter(rather than a hole) and within this their tentacles are rolled up. They only expand outsude the the tube.
