Description:

My New Year got off to a good start - a Small Tortoisheshell decided to wake up and fly round my hall today. No idea why it should choose today to wake up from wherever it had been hibernating, but a very welcome sight and hopefully a encouraging omen for the rest of the year. I tried to rehome it in the garage but it flew off in the sunshine.
