Three young newts.

Three newts among plenty of tadpoles. Each newt is about 55mm in length. There appears to be a dark band along the flank of newt at top right of photo. The newt partly hidden by reed leaf has vertical dark bars along flank. I wonder if they are too immature for ID?

Your newts are old enough for us to be able to identify them. The tadpoles are going to grow up into frogs; brown and less 'blobby' than toad tadpoles.
