I don't think its

I don't think its Cordulegaster bidentata. It was a medium sized dragonfly not a very large one. More in the range of Sympetrum danae but I don't think it was that species either. the habitat was small nutrient poor pools (very rich in amphibian species) in conifer forest in southern Czech Republic.

Ah well if it was Darter size than Leucorrhinia albifrons would match.
