I think these are Common Blue Damselflies, but I'm not sure.
There were at least 8, flying at the edge of grassland, near to a pond.
No interactions present.
I thought I'd looked at all the blue damselfly pictures, but wasn't much the wiser - not familiar enough with the terminology. But by having just two to compare (and using Wikipedia which had photos of them from the same angle as mine, I can see the difference now). Many thanks. (Azure sounds much nicer than common blue too.)
