Wood Mouse

Observed: 2nd June 2011 By: anonymous spotter
Wood Mouse
Description:

I was sitting about 2m away, eating breakfast on the patio (on average, you can do this about 5 days a year on Teesside, without specialist clothing). It ran off when I removed the cage and fetched the camera, but soon returned.

Wood mouse

There is not enough of the neck showing to separate this animal from yellow-necked mouse, however based on current knowledge, this must be a wood mouse as y-n mice are not in Teesside.
