Cynomya mortuorum
Cynomya mortuorum 1
Description:

Large, striking fly...at first I thought it was going to be a smallish Tachina grossa. About 16mm long, with yellow face and a shiny blue/green/black (depending on angle) abdomen. It keyed out (I think!) as a calliphorid, but I have no key to go forward from there.
