Description:

small disc like growths growing on surface of bark. They appear to change colour, some being whitish brown, some a darker brown. Sorry pictures are not well focussed.

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

Hypoxylon sp

It certainly looks like a Hypoxylon species. What is the species of tree? Cut the spheres and they should be black inside.
