Description:

Fairly heavy infestation of tree fungus. Fungus preading from 11 inches above the roots and continuing 7 feet up the tree

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

I believe it was a chestnut tree , but will go back and confirm 100%
