Holes cut out of hazel leaf and what looks like the cut pieces attached (separately) to the underside of the leaf.

Hi Richard,

I'd agree this is probably I. pectinea, although there seems to be some possibility that I. masculella could feed on hazel sometimes (it's usually on hawthorn).
