Description:

In felled woodland acid boggy soil.Tussock-forming perennial of moors and heaths,flowers a terminal spikelet emerging from an inflated sheath,fruits yellowish brown with cottony hairs,very soft.There were only about a dozen tussock's in the felled area.The wood was conifer and felled about four years ago.
