Yellow lichen on smooth stone wall

A ubiquitous yellow foliose lichen found on walls in the area. It appears to be a species of xanthoria, and grows in small plaques less than 30mm across.


Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
