This bird, or it's ancestors, have been seen in our garden for five or six years. What causes the colours?

The colour is caused by albinisun and leuism, it is common in blackbird's

This is said -

to frequently be due to the overall health of the bird (as opposed to true albinism, which is genetic). It may be that the family is heavily infested with parasites, for instance.
If it's a regular feature over generations, it could well have a genetic cause, I think.
