I think that this image provides an illustration of the cup shaped objects which are fruiting bodies. I think it is a foliose licheh but I would appreciate advice please.


Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

This is not a foliose lichen -

It is crustose again, which means it forms a crust which you wont be able to remove without cutting into the rock (or hard 'substrate')

Foliose means leaf-like, flattened but usually easily removable from substrate.
