Small fungus in "wet heathland" grass

Have agreed but fungus looks

Have agreed but fungus looks rather bright red for this species, perhaps just the way the camera processed it.

I agree the cap............

I agree the cap looks too red to be the deceiver, also I cannot see the striated margin to the cap which is characteristic of this species.

Magnify the photograph. You will see it is granular or minutely scaly on top of the cap and, as you say, the stipe is striate. This makes it Laccaria proxima.
