Description:

Any idea what's going on with this cleavers plant? The growth towards the tip is distorted. Some sort of gall maybe?

Galls on Cleavers

There seems to be a few options in British Plant Galls, Redfern etc the AIDGAP key. My favourites would be the mite Cecidophyes galii (common), or the larvae of the fly Dasineura aparines. These IDs are more speculation and should not be treated as true, may be one the the gall experts will have more to say.
