Hard ones to call. I'd lean to P. communis on both of these, but I'd only be willing to place an extremely small bet! :-)

You might be right, I'm less

You might be right, I'm less sure now! The callipers do converge slightly but seemed a bit thickened at the tips also. Best wait to see what others say...

Indeed

Indeed, that was just the trouble I was having, they do seem to display features of both.

I gave more weight to the convergence but was worried by the apparent thickening, you obviously leaned the other way.

Why is it never easy? :-)
