Slow worm

A good picure of a plain male slow worm. Very pale this one.

Male Slow-worm

Many thanks, we used to have the lovely blue spotted ones in the garden but haven't seen one in a while. So to be thick but how do you tell it's a male?

Slow worm

Sorry, I usually say. Males are very plain or may have spots but never have the dark line down the sides which indicates a female. Have a look at some of the other iSpot observations of slow worm.
